An eight-day program with nine tests/certifications:
- Management
- HACCP
- Beverage
- Guest Service
- Food Safety
- Culinary
- Nutrition
- Healthcare Manager
Then, there is a final exam with 10 questions from the eight certifications. Upon completion, you earn the Senior Certified Food and Beverage Manager designation, which veterans submit to the VA for reimbursement. The program can be done in person (five days live, three tests completed beforehand, and the final exam on the last day) or online with PowerPoint and/or Zoom recordings at your own pace. We also travel to your location for a class, with a minimum of 10 students, for a live session. Fewer students are required in Hawaii or for hardship cases.
